  • In 1998, IL research was firstly launched by us in China. The main research orientation is design and synthesis of novel ILs , studies of IL properties, clean catalysis in ILs, integration of ILs and electrochemistry, ILs for lubrication, analysis and purification in ILs, IL based technologies and applications. Now, more than 200 ILs with high quality can be produced and supplied in our group, including all kinds of functionalized ILs.

  • Now, the synthetic technique of 100 common and functional ILs including imidazoles, pyrrolidines, ammoniums, and phosphoniums has been mastered. More than 200 ILs with high quality can be produced and supplied in our group, including all kinds of functionalized ILs. And, more than 20 conventional ILs can be successfully synthesized with a scale of 20 kg.

    Up to now, we have successfully provided IL samples for ca. twenty universities and companies. Advanced instruments including NMR, IR, ESI-MS, EA, DSC, TGA, XRD, XPS, CHI 660A electrochemical work station, ion selective electrode, Karl¨CFischer Moisture meter, etc. also help us ensure the quality of ILs.
